Montreal’s Chinatown is considered a tourist area. Because of this special consideration, many of the establishments in Chinatown are opened well into the night. Tourists and locals often stroll into Chinatown’s animated nightlife, which features many restaurants that are open late into the night.

Walking in Chinatown Montreal

Some of the best Asian cuisine in Montreal can be found in Chinatown. You will find everything from Vietnamese to Cantonese seafood and delicacies. Dim sum, won ton soup, General Tao’s chicken, dumplings, various types of noodles, crispy chicken and lobster dishes are only some of the dishes that you will find in Chinatown.

Rue de La Gauchetière

The heart and soul of Montreal’s Chinatown is rue de La Gauchetière. The parts of this street that pass through Chinatown has been converted into a pedestrian-only walkway that features various stores and street merchants. During the summer months, several outdoor fairs are held on this street.

      Bonjour Claude. Il faudrait verifier avec le quartier Chinios. On n’a pas recu des nouvelles cette annee 🙁
