Montreal airports consist of Dorval’s Pierre Eliot Trudeau International Airport , which remains the busiest airport serving Montreal and Mirabel International Airport. Formerly known as Dorval Airport, Pierre Eliot Trudeau International Airport is on the west side of Montreal and is approximately half an hour from downtown Montreal. Trudeau International Airport has recently been renovated and currently handles most International flights to and from Montreal. The second airport is Mirabel International Airport and it located much further out in the Laurentian’s region, right off of Highway 15 which happens to be the Laurentian Autoroute. Mirabel Airport is rarely used after the renovations to Pierre Eliot Trudeau International Airport.
