The Fantasia International Film Festival has been taking place in Montreal since 1996. It is one of the most exciting genre film festivals in the world and attracts thousands of visitors each year. For the past couple of years, all the films of the Fantasia Film Festival are shown at various halls of Concordia University. With Concordia University located in the heart of downtown Montreal, it’s easy to access all the movie screenings of the Fantasia Film Festival. Montreal’s Concordia University is accessible by Metro through Guy-Concordia Metro. The festival also offers free outdoor shows at Parc de la Paix, which usually features films from past festivals.
A Festival for a Mature Crowd
The Fantasia Film Festival is intended for a mature audience. Many of the films in the festival are non-PG genre films. These films feature lots of violence, coarse language and sexual content.
