The Montreal Virgin Festival is an annual a music festival organized by Virgin Mobile. The festival takes place at Île Ste-Hélène in Parc Jean-Drapeau. The Virgin Festival has been in existence for over 13 years, with regular shows in England, Toronto, Baltimore and Vancouver. However, the first-ever Virgin Festival in Montreal was held in 2009. Virgin Festival is known for delivering a ton of mind-blowing experiences and the Montreal Virgin Festival is no different.
More than a Music Festival
Montreal’s Virgin Festival is much more than just a music festival. It features everything from burlesque pole dancing lessons to graffiti artists spraying original works of art to video game stations. There is also the ever popular Virgin Mobile Autograph Tent where fans get to rub shoulders with their favorite artists.
The Virgin Mobile Angels
Throughout the Virgin Festival, the Virgin Mobile Angels are there to take care of all the spectators. The Virgin Mobile Angels make sure that everyone has a great time. If anyone stubs their toe, can’t find the beer tent, or just needs to see a smiling face, the Virgin Mobile Angels are there to lend a hand to make sure everyone gets taken care of.
Artists at Montreal’s Virgin Festival
The inaugural Virgin Festival in Montreal took place in 2009. This inaugural version of the festival featured international artists like the Black Eyed Peas, New Kids on The Block, the JabbaWockeeZ and pop rockers 2AM CLUB. Since then, the festival has been cancelled due to budgeting issues. There are currently no plans to bring back this festival.
